3D Printing Challenge at I.T.T. Tallaght

Cris Mc Clelland  and his team from 3rd Year Mechanical Engineering & Technology  Society organized the inaugural 3D Printing Challenge for their students and 3D Printing Dublin were invited along by Gerry Ryder, Head of Mechanical Engineering  to judge the competition along with representatives from DCU and UCD and HP.

In third place was team Magic with the spiral  egg cup design.

Some other designs of interest included the “Hand held” i-Phone/Tablet Holder, the Fruit Juicer from Team Ultorn and not forgetting We are Groot with their design for a Chalice.
